our Short Biography

when opportunity knocks

As a qualified Occupational Therapist and Workplace Trainer I was looking to pursue the field of well being, but wanted to do so with a fresh approach.  I am glad I didn't settle for less on this journey, because one day I came to the realisation that there was a great opportunity right under my nose (that a dog would sniff a mile away).

It was a beautiful Sunday morning and I was out dog training.  I remember that exact moment standing on a local football field, a perfect fresh and sunny Sunday morning in Melbourne.  There were lots of other people with their dogs, working together in harmony.  The fusion of my passion for well being and dogs saw the creation of Top Tails Dog Training, where people are supported to "take the lead in well being".

Fast forward to 2016 where this idea became reality.  With my trusted best friends Pip and Pud, Top Tails Dog Training was launched, where we all have realised our dreams. For me, it's working with people and assisting them to have the best relationship with their best friends (and reap all of the health and wellness benefits), for Pip it's giving her a job to do (she is a working dog after all) and for Pud it's spending time with children, teens and adults teaching about animal behaviour (and being adored).

OUR LEISURE TIME

We also enjoy spending time together whether it's a walk at the beach, playing at the park, herding sheep, negotiating agility courses or visiting older folk (pet therapy).
